Another hire that bolsters Edge's smarts in The Simpsons random trivia (pre-season 11, obviously), Kath can be found in our Strategy department as a Junior Planner. Kath pulls from rich experiences gleaned in New York working with creative and luxury organisations including the Guggenheim Museum, Davidoff, the Warhol Foundation, and Liquitex – where she picked up her preference for using the letter z instead of s.
She specialised in translating lofty artistic visions into accessible and engaging content and now applies the same creative lens to strategy and planning, all while barely being able to draw a stick figure.
Who would play you in a film and why? I've been told I look like Maisie Williams from Game of Thrones, but personally I feel more of an affinity to the wisecracking animated sidekicks in most children's movies...so probably a sardonic raccoon voiced by Arya Stark.
If you were planning a music festival, who – dead or alive – would be your headliner? Beyonce's retirement tour if I got to keep the ticket sales. If it was for me, I'd love to see Television play Marquee Moon in its entirety.
You're given an airplane ticket to anywhere in the world – where do you choose to go (and why)? My travel MO is the fewer people the better and I just learnt to scuba dive, so somewhere tropical and remote - I wouldn't say no to Zanzibar or the Great Blue Hole in Belize.
What's your favourite memory? There was a big rock at my parent's farm that plays host to a montage of great memories with friends and family, usually featuring a bonfire, a dog, and copious food and wine.
Who is your inspiration? On a day to day basis, it would be my father - he takes his work as seriously as his relaxation, is happiest making others happy, and is an encyclopaedia of very useful Cicero quotes.
You're on a desert island – what album have you brought with you? Maybe Fireworks by Katy Perry, incredibly loud and on constant repeat, so that I am driven off the island to swim for safety!
What would be your death-row dinner? Really fresh bread and Pepe Saya butter, sprinkled with the drug from Limitless.
Why Edge? A appreciation of Grandmaster Flash, and big ideas well executed.
