The objective was to make fans of ‘the people’s car’ aware of the upgrades that make a Wolfsburg edition.

The team at Edge extensively researched the history of the town of Wolfsburg, the castle, the heraldic significance of its coat of arms, and the folklore of the wolf to develop the campaign film’s prose and the story for the blog. 

Matt Batten, ECD at Edge, says “Volkswagen is steeped in tradition, both as a brand and as an advertising icon. It made sense to look back 700 years to trace the bloodline of today’s Wolfsburg edition vehicles. Aaaroooooo!”
