We’re looking for a print designer with experience in magazines and books to be part of our team. Working across a variety of titles the subjects will vary from health, food, travel, B2B and more. You will need excellent communication skills, a passion for creativity, expert competency in Adobe CS, and proven aesthetic design skills.

Candidates with experience in other aspects of design will be at an advantage – such as photography, illustration, content creation, animation, styling, etc.

Must-haves:

A portfolio that showcases your own creative work and experience with publications

Excellent typographic and visual design skills

Ability to multitask across a variety of projects while hitting deadlines daily

Collaborative team ethics as well as ability to work autonomously

Excellent time management skills

Ability to take direction and work closely with Editor and to meet objectives

Give input on design direction of magazines

Create and update stylesheets and templates for all publications

Experience with photo retouching and colour correction

Expert ability and speed with Adobe CS on Mac platform

Must be Sydney-based and have legal right to work in Australia.
